Post Can't adjust TPS. HELP

I just conected a volt meter to my throttle position sensor. It read .78Volts. After loosening the 2 screws and playing with the adjustment for a while (turning it clockwise), the best reading I can get is .91 Volts. Does this mean my sensor needs replacing, or is there another way to adjust?

TPS adjustment is not really critical to performance but if your TPS is original it probably should be replaced for best results. About $35. at a Ford dealer; a lot less at Auto Zone or other parts stores.

Mr. 5.0 is right, but if you still want to adjust, try boring out the screw holes a bit.

Make certian that you have properly adjusted your idle stop screw and that your base timming is set at least at stock specs before you go drilling your tps sensor. You should have plenty of adjustment to play with if you have not recently played around with any of the above items. Just my .2.
