![]() I just installed my Novi 1000 blower today and I have a couple problems.
1. My 3" cowl hood will not close. I have solid motor mounts and they raise the motor up a little. But the blower is like 2" too high. The Paxton tech told to to reclock the blower to the discharge is lower. 2. Since the blower install, my fuel pressure regulator does not work properly. I cannot drop the base fuel pressure any lower than 40 psi, but I can raise it. 3. The idle surges like crazy. a constant rrrrrRRRRRRMMMmmmm rrrrrrRRRRRMMMMmmmm......rrrrrRRRRRMMMMMmmmm...... Which may be caused by my 30 pound injectors at 40 psi at idle, instead of 30 psi like it normally is. I swapped in a new fuel pressure regulator, but the problem still exists. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Rob Shackleton
