![]() As the engine temp rises(Climbing long hill)and keeping rpms the same as on flat road at 2200 rpm @80mph(aod trans)the oil pressure gauge shows a slight drop in pressure,about one notch on a stock 124k 5.0.Is this just the oil(10/40 conventional Mobil/STP filter) not maintaining its viscosity?

![]() That sounds like an oil pump that is getting weak (not maintaining pumping pressure as the oil warms up), and the engine just working a little harder, which could produce more heat.
