Post Cylinder Head Deal

I have the chance to pick up the holley systemax aluminum heads for an 86-83 5.0 for a mere $500 bucks brand new in the box. It wasn't what I originally wanted but how good are these heads? will they work well with a different cam than the one they recomend? I consider .512 too much lift for a street car. Also how well do they match up to a tfs intake or edelbrock intake? Will they bolt on to an older block or will I need different push rods? Please help I don't want to pass up this opportunity if they will work.

67' Fastback. I might be using a 93 Saleen engine but right now it has a 69' 302.
