![]() The day has finally come when I had a chance to put my new engine in today.
I just set it in the car so everything still needs hooked up and attached before it's ready to fire up yet. I also still need all the nickle and dime stuff like: oil, tranny fluid, plugs, antifreeze and header gaskets. That little bit right there is going to add up quick!! That's ok because I'm still way ahead of my schedule I set last year. My goal was top have it up and running by summer of 2004 It "should" be finished by the end of the month

![]() I take it your referring to the 351 in your sig? yea the oil, gaskets, numerous trips to the parts store can add up for sure, i remember just doing heads was pretty time consuming, but taking my time resulted in a smooth job
![]() Your combo, with 4.30 gear 3000 stall and 28 inch slick would be one fast mofo, but all looks streetable now, good luck.

Seriously though, I didn't forget about you because I know you want to hear all about how it sounds and runs. I was planning on dropping you a PM as soon as I fire it up. I'll keep you posted.
