I had my 89 GT repainted not too long ago... things were great for about 8 months and then the door moldings peeled off... is there anything that anyone has done or knows how to do to correct this and keep it from happening again... It has really taken away from the look of my car.

3M Double sided adhesive tape. That's what I used and it works just fine.

Take the moldings off, clean the area your going to be placing the 3M tape, use a mild degreaser and remove any wax or film left behind then do the same with the inside of your molding, place the tape on and use some rubber clamps to hold the molding in place if you have to and let sit, you should have nice looking results.
