Default A better Trac Loc?

I am considering switching out my questionable Trac loc while I am messing around in there. I have talked to Rev about the unit he runs on his 8 inch, which apparently looks very good. My only other option I see is putting the better clutches in my Trac loc unit.

What kind of price tag am I looking at to do the better clutches? Has anybody on here done it? Had any luck with it? I am probably leaning towards spending the cash to get rid of the Trac loc, but would consider the better clutches if it worked decent.

I would have put this in the classic forum guys, but if I understand it right the Trac Loc in my 8 inch is close to the 8.8 units…..
Thanks,
Ryan

I used carbon fiber clutches and had great success with them. They lasted 3 years worth of hard driving and 1.60 60fts. They were still working great when I upgraded.

They come stock in 03-04 cobras.

I never had a problem yanking the hoops with my Trac-Lok either. I was using stock clutches, but I'd change them each and every Season too though, needed or not, just something I planned for the Spring rush.
