Need help installing new float...I'm stuck!!
What looked like a 10min. job is probably going to be a 2 week project!
I'm "trying" to install my new notched float and jet extensions with the help of the HOLLEY manual, which isn't much help at all(waste of money!) I can't figure out how to remove the "c" clip the book refers to in order to remove the float from the shaft. Hell, I don't even SEE any clips! Do I have to remove the needle/seat assembly before the float can be removed? Can somone tell me EXACTLY what I need to do to get the old float off and the new one on? The Holley manual assumes that everyone is a Jedi Master of Holleys. I would appreciate it very much if someone could help me out because my carburetor is in pieces in the garage until I get this figured out. It's a Holley 750dp (4150)
