![]() I found a guy that's selling a 351w and crank. The block bored .040, cleaned and check with cast pistons.
Is this a good deal or not because I have my own 351w block and crank that is ready to go to the machine shop. Would I be spending more to have the block and crank hot tanked and checked and cam bearing installed?

![]() It doesn't need bored but it could probably be honed.

![]() I dont know man, hot tanking usually costs around 40-50 bucks, but im not too familiar with how much honing costs. If his stuff is nice and clean it might be worth looking into. if its already got cam bearing and freeze plugs, it might be worth looking into it. John
