Better sound and speed
I have a little extra cash and i was looking at getting another mod for my 94 cobra. I would like to make it sound better. Not nessisarily louder, but that would be nice too.
I dont know what else to do now that i have finished the exhaust. If nothing else will really help my sound, I could use a speed mod. A couple of my friends are getting these new ricey turbo charged little 4 bangers, like the WRX and the lancer EVO. I'd like to be able to smoke them by a good bit, not just a narrow win. I was thinking maybe a 75 dry NOS shot might do the trick, but im still looking for other options. I have about 3k at most to spend on purchase AND install. I have done some small things myself like pulleys but anything more indepth than that i prefer to let a professional handel it.

Get new heads and a better cam. Im goin for Trick Flow twisted wedge heads. The heads cost around $1000 or more and an E303 cam will run about $200...but if you find a good shop you should have enough $ to get it installed. You'll be A LOT faster and you car will sound hella better with the cam.

get a nice intake manifold to go with that and your set. You will be more than pleased! All for about $1800 in parts w/ shipping. Install should cost no more than $500 for the h/c/i combo, so you'll still have a couple hundred left over!

another vote for the heads, cam, intake, and roller rockers. You should be very pleased with the results.
