![]() Could someone list all the turbo kits that can be used on 5.0's. I know the major one is Incon and I think there is one called DDMI?
What's the price of these kits used? I've seen people pick up used kits very cheap. What are the additonal upgrades required and what is the max PSI on a stock motor? Thanks ------------------ C ME FLY ![]() 88 coupe 14.75 @ 98 mph Traction Limited |

![]() DDMI went out of business several years ago. I'm not sure, but I think the owners of Incon may have been involved in that one. The others are Turbo Technology (WA), Turbo Driven Concepts (FL), Cartech (TX), and I think Speed Innovations (TX) might still be around, but don't quote me on that.

![]() DDMI kits were among the most difficult kits ever built. Incon kits also bare much similarity to the Incon kits (they're both twins). TDC is good (or so I've heard) and Cartech was, I think, the first to offer kits for Mustangs. Going turbo'd isn't much different at all than running a blower. Just make sure your engine is good before you start dumping boost and power into it. Also, remember, turbos don't make power. Fuel does. Without enough fuel a turbo is worthless (as is any power adder). The turbo is just a means of cramming more air into the engine so it can use more fuel. Just make sure you look a used kit up and down to make sure it's in good shape.
