![]() went to the shop today to get my estimate on my 347 im building ... estimate is about 4200 bucks - thats with decent rods, forged pistons, new crank, valves, springs, retainers and headwork, cam, lifters, pushrods, new balancer, flexplate, freeze plugs
i mean basically everything done for about 4200 to make me a short block (i said id take the heads home and bolt them on myself) does this sound like a fair deal? i see crate motors on summit for about 1000 less than that couldnt i just get a 351w and get the same power out of it? i have till tomorrow to make my decision. |
