![]() I heard about a guy using nitro methane in his car. Now granted, it wasn't even close to being stock. But my question is what would happen if I put some in my car? (HEHEHEHE!)

![]() Nitro methane is way less flammable than gasoline. It has only a slightly higher flash point than diesel.Your car wouldent have even close to enough compression to bring the nitro up to enough pressure to allow a tiny spark to ignite the methane. So point being your car just wouldent start.BUT the unburnt nitro methane leftover in your exaust and mufflers would probably smell really cool for a day or so(after you got it fired up on regular gasoline).

![]() 91evilstang thats what i was thinking. The guy who tried this was running at least 12.5 to 1 compression on top of running about 25 pounds of boost. Do anyone know how much compression and boost you have to run in order to use this stuff?

![]() I always thought, nitromethane was pretty volatile stuff. I know its mixed with alchohol to stabilize the fuel based on humidity. The stuff was used as an industrial cleaner, but proved to be highly unstable
