![]() OK so the saga continues...
I'm driving to work today, and I'm about halfway there, and something told me to look at the temp gauge (thank GOD) it was almost pegged!! I said HOLY **** and pulled off at the next exit and into a gas station. Pop the hood and notice that there is a leak coming not out of the water pump or hoses, but out of the top of the timing chain cover. ( I think, the part right behind the water pump. Water pump bolts on to it.) It's not leaking too bad, but bad enough where almost all of the water was out of the engine. What can I do? Do you think I can clean it up and maybe JB Weld it??? Suggestions????? As you know, the Olds is out of commission with a bad water pump (bearings), and I havent fixed it yet due to difficulty getting motor mount bolts off. And this morning I told the chick i was seeing and screwing with for a year to lose my number!!! Big fight... AAARRRGGGHHHH!! WHAT A DAY!
