Took a dump on my car
Back from outta town today, I was glad to see my car again, especially since i waxed it before i left. A quick circle chek revealed bird sh*t all over the left quater panel http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/mad.gif It's like a f*cking taradactal saved it for a week, then let loose on the Stang.
Cruisin' with my girlfriend later tonight (who is no longer since an hour ago) top down, enjoying the sun. We pull up at a light, then BAM! A f*cking seagull dive bombed us outta nowhere! It's all over the X's skirt, and inside door panel http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif Do i have to carry a Mossberg from now on? |
Sorry, dude, but I'm LMAO.
For some unknown reason, birdies like shiny things to poop on, kinda like a targeting thing for them, I guess. It's almost a guarantee soon as you wax your car, it's gonna get hit with something; this is the reason I wash my car almost right after it rains. Count your blessings, it could've been luggage from an overhead flight! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/eek.gif ------------------ Capri306, Moderator, The Mustang Works Online 1979 Mercury Capri, 5.0L -- C4 -- 2.73 1987 Mustang LX Notch |
Here is some scientific explanation of why birds do that.
On another note......does anyone know where a good place to host pics is. I have to put in the dang url everytime. ------------------ 1966 Baby blue Coupe, 289, Manual 3-speed, Edelbrock 650, Flowmaster 3-chambers, and minor upgrades. November of 2001 I will go back to Dallas. |
POWER, that's funny. The real reason, though, is that birds' anuses dont have muscles in them do close em up. Therefore, whenever their digested food reaches the end of their intestines, the food just drops out. They arent just aiming for fat people or shiny cars.

It took us 6 years after this site was developed to finally see the term "bird anus" used in a post. I think Dan owes you a t-shirt http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif
I've been lucky... two years and counting and no bird poo in my vert! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif ------------------ 66 Tahoe Turquoise Coupe Laser Red 96GT Ragtop 30 Years & 30 inches apart in the driveway! |
Ive been hit before, right on the top of my hat too while driving the convertible. I didn't know I was crapped on until I went to my friends house. And of course they didn't tell me right awayso I didn't know. They took some pics and had some fun with me first. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/rolleyes.gif
Kinda reminds you of that super bowl commercial a couple years back when the birds were flying around with goggles talking to each other on trying to crap on some new car. Makes you think some people are just born with a $hit magnet. ------------------ 1992 GT 5.0L Convertible BBK Shorties, Flowmasters, Super Chip, Mass Air, Under Drive Pullies, Hurst Shifter, Duck Tape AIM: SmokeyDP |
