Did I get beat?
I was at a red light, Be hind me in the other lane I saw a black 87 lx 5.0 pulling up to light, the light turned green while he was still rolling and I started to proceed, the black mustang romped on it (to get by me and show off), I notticed this so I jumped on it too. He got a bit of jump on me but wI was about 3/4 of car length a head of me I shifted once then I shifted again and started to pull away. Then I noticed I was doing about 120km in a 60 zone and I backed off, (it was a bussy street in at about 4:00 in the afternoon) he then flew by me but can he realy say he beat me?

Nope. You were ahead when the race ended, and no cheap stuff went down.

You only lose when you honestly know that you were overpowered. Not wanting to cause an accident or get a speeding ticket are more important than racing. I usually run somebody until I can tell who is going to win, usually doesn't require going 100mph.

yeah, that darn maturity thing kicking in, oh well I guess I don't like people thinking there car is faster than mine (not that I have the quickest car) I guess it's that matcho competion thing.
