The groove for lockwire gaskets must be .010" deep and the tolerance is +/-.001.
I recently called felpro because I had an issue with the depth of my grooves and they faxed me the spec sheet for the machining.
You can call them or I could fax it to you tomarrow. It's at work.

BTW don't know if you have TFS heads but their instruction sheet has the same info about the .010 depth.
