I'm pretty sure I saw someone running a plate system with a performer RPM at a car show, I don't know if they had to modify it or not. I remember your earlier post about wanting to use a Torker II. If your main concern is performance on the nitrous, that manifold would be a better choice but it wouldn't have the throttle response on the street.
However, bleeding off some of the low end torque is a good way to increase traction and since you'll be above 4000 rpms after first gear, you won't miss the loss in low speed torque.
Basically, I don't agree with the others that the torker II is a bad manifold and I think with a nitroused street car its a pretty trick piece.
