well it's your call. If I were you, and my budget permitted it, I'd go buy new lifters if they are original. That may or may not fix your problem. Being the cheapskate that I am, instead of buying new pushrods right now, I'd just tighten down the rocker until you can't turn the pushrod with your fingers, then go another 1/4 to 1/2 turn and see how it runs.

BUT, I just read your other thread and you're using pedestal mount rockers, which I've never used so my opinion probably isn't going to help you out too much. I've always used stud mount rockers.
