Thumbs up Sound

They both have something to offer, lot of variables here.

I have a Mac H-pipe with converters, and 2 chamber flowmasters with full tailpipes, and it sure does not sound like I have converters on it.

An X-pipe does not sound any different at lower rpm's but get it up in the rev range and it takes on a real surreal sound, they sound awesome upstairs on the upper end of the tach, and build a little more high rpm power, reason they work on 4V 4.6 Cobras so well.

In the end it is all a matter of personal taste and sound you like, only thing I can tell you,get out and listen to some cars with both on them, with cats, and without cats on them.
