![]() They both have something to offer,lot of variables here.
I have a Mac H-pipe with converters,and 2 chamber flowmasters with full tailpipes,and it sure does not sound like I have converters on it. An X-pipe does not sound any different at lower rpm's but get it up in the rev range and it takes on a real surreal sound,they sound awesome upstairs on the upper end of the tach,and build a little more high rpm power,reason they work on 4V 4.6 Cobras so well. In the end it is all a matter of personal taste and sound you like,only thing I can tell you,get out and listen to some cars with both on them,with cats,and without cats on them.
