The RPMs at a certain speed shouldnt change... You arent changing any gearings.....

I cant say I know for sure... but I'm to understand that the STALL speed of a torque converter is the speed at wich is will not slip at ALL... though it doesnt mean it wont catch before that... if there isnt anything keeping it from spinning, like your foot on the brake, it'll still move your car... it's not just RPMs but TORQUE too...I read posts about people getting certain stall speeds and they are stalling much earlier cause thier motors dont have enough torque to take them all the way to that RPM... even with a 3000 stall if you are in drive and you give it gas it will move LONG before 3000
