Well, the way I think about things is like this: I much rather buy a cheaper car and have less to no payments and then mod the crap out of it instead of buying a car already "built" by someone else and have to make payments on it. The left over money from buying a cheaper car under 12k 99-00GT or 96-98 cobra would make that car way faster than any production Saleen. Modding my own car makes it more personal and I can do it exactly like I want it. The Saleen's suspension is awesome, but, the Cobra's can be upgraded. Plus, to me, I'd rather beat ls1s using a '98 Cobra than a Saleen. Gives more of a "shock value."
