If your clutch pedal feels the same then it is not the quadrant. I think your tranny is gone, maybe the imputshaft shattered, I have done that to 3 of them so far. I bought all my parts from D&D or Hanlon both nice guys to deal with. I can rebuild the tranny $250 in labor if your interested. Take a look at the topic titled T-5 rebuild whats the going rate..I listed the prices of the parts you'll need if the imput shaft did let loose. Shoot me a e-mail rhawver@strouse.com.
