You're going to have to spend some big bucks to get alot of rpm out of a 351c. As for taking off at high RPM, you dont need a small block.. a BB would work way better. Some steep gears and a low RPM BB would work better, the SB doesnt have the TQ if you start to bog down. Check out www.460ford.com , quite a few pullers and boggers there.
