D*mn the auto! I raced my friend's 95 Cobra with a few more bolt-ons than yours with my 5-speed 2000GT and stayed right with him repeatedly. My car is about 90lbs lighter in the front than stock, and my motor is bone stock except for the TB that is not helping me yet anyway, so I think you need a manual! I guess my 315s out back don't hurt either.
(His Cobra runs 13.6 to 13.9 at the track by the way)
Remember that even though you got the Cobra for cheap, when it was new it cost more than your 2000GT did...
