Default I have a dream

In 5 Yrs time I want 2 fly from London to LA pick up a 65 convertible - drive to Detroit via Muscle Shoals (is that feasible?)

Pull up outside the old Motown studio with Martha & the Vandellas singing Dancing In The Streets on the car stereo. What do I need to do in order to fulfill this dream? - How much will it cost?

Living in the Detroit area personal protection is a good idea you don't want the 65 stolen while your in it.LOL. Plane ticket to LA no idea California Mustang Prices 8-12Thousand 1000 dollars in cash a few credit cards and some good road maps.Come in August so you can hang out at the Woodward Dream Cruise if it's still a happening when you do this. By the way Dream Cruise 75,000 classic muscle cars packing 8 lanes of road for 12 Miles thats a can't miss.

Many thanks,

Maybe the Detroit leg is not such a good idea then. Does anybody operate tours to the Hitsville Studio. Is it still there?

It would be quite a pilgrimage for me, having been brought up in the 60s to such great music.

The 65 convertible is a goal I have set myself in order to grow my business in network marketing.

I aim to buy one, maybe over here in the UK, within three years. The LA to Detroit cruise is a bit of a fantasy which I would like to realise in 5 years time.

Thanks again for your info CobraII76.

Anybody else out there got any ideas?

One eccentric (niaive?) Brit
