![]() I have a stock 95 GT, AODE. I had a 628 code, excessive convertor slippage. Had that replaced a little over a month ago, and am now getting the same code on the new convertor. What would cause this? And what does the transmission solenoid do (how many, if more than one)? I think it is tied to the convertor somehow, and it may be causing the convertor to not lock up (excessive slippage). Been having idle problems at stop lights. Been thru the cleaning, swapping parts, and am down to this.
