Default Clutch problem w/tremec tranny

I recently installed all the following on a mildly modified 94 cobra all at once:

tremec 3550
10.5" ford king cobra clutch kit
upr clutch quadrant/cable kit
steeda short-throw shifter
lakewood bellhousing

after installing, the clutch pedal is REALLY STIFF.. the car runs fine and i've been driving it for a few weeks now the way it is but i'd really like to get it back to close to stock softness.. any ideas? i used the stock clutch fork, could that be it??

thanks, josh
