Default Looking for NOS

Got a question about NOS I'm starting to look around for a NOS system. I think I want a dual stage 150hp shot. I would like to go more but i'm not sure how much my setup can take. This is my setup http://www.mustangworks.com/cgi-bin/moi-display.cgi?378

Oya I have a Cartech Upper for GT40 Lower on the way.

Thanks for your replies

you should be good for a 150shot. You'll need more motor work for more nitrous.

If you've never used nitrous before, I would suggest that you get a 50 to 150hp adjustable system and start out small. Learn the ropes and jet-up the hp levels as you get comfortable, tuning cautiously as you go. A dual stage system is not recommended, IMHO. It's easier to setup and tune a single stage nitrous system to begin with... and you can always upgrade to a second stage in the future, once you learn how to tune w/ nitrous.

I'd suggest a dry kit as a starter kit too, as mistakes with a wet system seem to be much more catastrophic, ie. blown up intakes and the like. I'm running the ZEX kit and it seems somewhat idiot proof, so far anyway

wet kit shoots fuel and nitrous, dry just shoots nitrous.

you know that nos is just one brand name of many different nitrous oxide kits right ? anyways , do some research on the net and try to learn about exactly what it is and what it does and how it works first , and then you will know what you want to get . do not buy a wet kit , i have seen people completely blow up their intake manifold with them , literally . the mustangs intake set up tends to puddle up fuel and when it ignites , kiss your intake good bye and anything else close to it .

I would suggest going with an adjustable dry system and start off small and when u get a hang with it jet up like previsly stated. I would also consider upgrading ur fuel pump yet bigger when spraying a 150 shot to just be on the safe side. I would also consider upgrading your heads to anything but stock windsor heads to get maximum hp gains. There isnt a set of windsor heads worth talking about. I am currebtky running 150 dry shot and looking to upgrade to an adjustable wet kit. 150-300 shot. I am somewhat worried about a wet sytem and have had lots of experience with n2o so go with and adjustable dry system
just my 2cents

something that i forgot to include , the zex kit is the safest kit on the market as far as i know . they tend to run a little bit on the rich side which prevents detonation .

Now that i have not heard, but if that can be proven than go with a zex system. Detenation will blow a motor to shreds.
