				 | 79-89 tie rods vs 90-93 tie rods Are the post 90 tie rods better than the pre-90 units? I read that the 90-93 units are supposed to have better geometry than the older units. I am in the process of rebuilding the front suspension on my '82GT and want to do all the upgrades possible to it. I'm just trying to separate fact from fiction.

				 | I'm completely rebuilding my front end. I called maximum motorsports for a little free advice, and they toild me that if was replacing the outer tierods, to use the 90-93 from Ford. As it turns out, MM carries them for $75 each, which is way less then if you got them from Ford. They said other aftermarket brands compromise between the earlier and later pieces. |
