				 | Its happening on the 87 which is bone stock. I have smelled fuel faintly after the car is warmed up when i stop...but that is rare. i just did a tune up and it is still doing the same thing. Just normal driving. say its ion 5th on the interstate at around 1500 rpms and u give it some gas to pass someone...does it then. Has a rough idle every now and again too. Not all the time though.... ------------------ '86 GT. Gears & Flows '87 GT. | Try cleaning your idle air bypass valve if you haven't already. EGR sticking open could probably cause those things, too. ------------------ 351W 89 Mustang GT Convertible |

				 | If it's doing it under WOT acceleration, along with a bucking and surge, there is an excellent chance you're running lean. Many times that problem is caused by a bad injector. Could be dirty or just shot. The TPS wouldn't care what rpm you are at, only throttle position. |
