Default 78 mustang 2 rear end

hello me again-


I found A 78( at least the guy thinks it's A 78) mustang 2 rear end. he will sell it to me for 50 with the leaf springs. but what I need to know is will this rear end fit on my 66 coupe.

ok I know for sure it's A 74 rear end off of A 74 mustang 2. not A 78.

Is it an 8"?

Even if it is, it will be a few inches wider than a 66 rear (57.25" flange to flange), so you would probably have to buy some offset rims.

hey thanks alot red-

it is A 8inch rear end. and according to the site you gave me it is eather from A 75 or 76 mustang 2.


so all that I would have to do it buy offset rims. every thing will bolt up in place. thats all I care about. offset rims isn't A problem. so will every thing bolt up right.

why? doesnt your 66 have an 8in?
