Question T-5 Mount

I suspect I need a new trans mount in my 92GT and I don't have access to a lift. Anyone ever replace the mount with the car just on jack stands? What's best, OEM, urethane or solid for a daily driver with a King Cobra clutch, aluminum drive shaft & 3:55's?
