ok guys here are the details..maybe you will understand a little more..maybe i am leaving something out..i needed a new clutch so i decided to change it..i took everything down that needed to be..i replaced the clutch plate, it looked the same as my old one..i put everything back together..made sure everything went back on correctly..the whole process went fine..nothing broke had no extra parts and so on...everything is back where it was to begin with..i made sure the starter was in properly tightened the bolts..made sure it was the corrct starter..i even changed the starter to 3 different kinds..all had the same result..the starter is grinding against my fly wheel..my tranny isnt up so it cant be nothing like that..the bell housing it tight and flush against the block..the starter even misses the flywheel sometimes and you'll just hear it spinning..not hitting anything...then ill turn it over again and its grinding..i dont understand why..it bothering the hell outta me..please any suggestions at this point will help....
