![]() I was reading an interesting side-note in the latest 5.0 magazine the other day. In that column, it stated that baffled mufflers (such as the flowmasters we all use to get that deep tone) restrict the flow from x-pipes enough to negate the hp gains. It said that after the x, the flow of air picks up speed considerably and apon entering the muffler the baffles slow it back down. Since I have an x-pipe, this concerns me considerably. Has anyone heard of this before? It does make a certain amount of sense, but will I be able to feel a difference if run say, 2chamber instead of 3? Or should I just go w/straight pipes?
