I just installed a new tremec3550 and a new centerforce dual friction clutch. I eliminated the center hangers after reading up on an exhaust vibration issue. The problem I'm having now, right after I started it up, is this horrible vibration when I hit the accelerator. This is both at idle, sitting still, and on the road. That was a lot of work getting that tranny in there. Well, probably because I had the bright idea of installing long-tube headers long before this also but it was a big pain in the behind. Has anyone had any similar issues like this when installing a new trans and clutch. I also installed a new rear main bearing seal during the process. I could really use some input on this problem. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
