Post G- tech

Does anyone know how acurate these things are?
I borrowed one from a friend and I've been running low 14's most of the time. But I have ran a 13.4 and a few 13.7's.
My tires suck and the time I ran the 13.4 it felt like I launched almost perfect. Has anyone ever compared it at the track?

13.4 is too fast....13.7 is more like it.
If you miss the level by much, it will throw it off big time. Mph is higher always on G-Tech.

I believe that the g-tech is pretty accurate as far as the ET goes, but on MPH its a little higher, because it measures the velocity (speed) at the end of the run, whereas the track measures how quickly you cover the last 60 ft of the track.

You are probably right. I went to the track today and I had a pass were I ran a 14.6 and the g-tech said I ran a 13.9 then I ran a 14.4 and it said I ran a 15.10. But like you said I don't think I had it perfectlly level.

I think you need a better mount for it to work properly. It never really snugs up to the window like it should. That's the biggest flaw it has. I'm trying to fabricate a better one.

I think mounting it is the biggest problem it has. I have used my one at the track and it has someitmes matched my times, but as others have said mph is always off. I could care less if it is accurate, as long as it gives me #s that say I am faster then when I did my mod, it makes me happy
