			 I saw this on a web site. They were claiming "the NEW Accufab 70mm plenum + 70mm throttle body, for the ultimate intake combination! Combined power of 10HP / 15TQ on bolt on GT!" 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
	
	Its around 450 for both before shipping and is only 10 rwhp. Can anyone vouch for these numbers? and is 10 hp good for $450 bucks? Anyone know of a better brand/better results/lower price? I'm still looking around, but I am going to get the steeda shifter, some "show" items, and am still looking into a few other things. I also saw on the same site that the mustang gt had 252 hp baseline. I know the 260 claimed is crank hp. has anyone dyno'd a stock gt? what was your hp? also the steeda underdrive pulleys. Do they really give you 8-10 hp as claimed? I know it this is getting long... so i will stop here for now  |

			 Stock GT's tend to dyno in the neighborhood of 230 rwhp with a 5-speed. 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			If you do a search on corral.net, there is alot of discussion and dyno results there on the various upper intake plenums made for 2V's (Accufab, C&L, Trick Flow, Dragon, etc.). They seem to be a good bang for the buck mod. As for underdrive pullies, they are definitely high up there on the bang for the buck list and from what I have seen they do give you the gains they claim.

			One nice thing about the TB's and the plenums is that they can support additional mods down the road. I mean to say, they can help them work better. Also, they improve torque nicely through the power bands too.

			 Yea Tb's differ.  You get what you pay for, I have heard more negitvie things about the mac TB then positive.  You can score one for 120 on ebay brand new, looks good, sounds good but I heard more people complain then say it was quality.

			Definitely get the pullies, A good bang for the buck.Make sure that you get the ones that replace the damper, not the piggy back style.

			 Changing to bigger intake and exhaust parts will only gain you power if they are a restriction. If you go too big, you will lose a ton of torque down low and maybe gain an inconsequential amount of hp on the top end. Without changing the plenum or adding forced induction I wouldn't go over stock or 70mm TB at most, and you won't see any gains with the 70mm without other mods.

			 Yes, the MAF on '02 and '03 stangs is 80mm - I was talking about the TB. 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			There is nothing wrong with going with the 75mm if you are getting the plenum and MAF also. People have seen 20+ rwhp on the dyno with these mods along with an aftermarket intake elbow.

			 The latest issue of MM&FF had dyno results on the 70 mm and 75 mm TB and the C&L Plenun.  The 75 mm TB had the best gains when used with the plenum.  12+ HP and 14+ Torque.  The author stated that the "car pulls like a train in 4th geer" with these mods.  I believe the 70 mm TB with the plenum put up 9 HP, but I don't have the article in front of me.
