edelbrock tech. department told me thier newer heads already are machined to accept spring cups.

How old are your heads? I bought mine 4 years ago.

He didnt say they came with spring cups, just that they were machined to accept spring cups. Apparently, Ford heads have never used spring cups?

Is this just a GM thing?
