Just a thought - if you are going to put the 6 back in it...keep the block and have a mechanic or machine shop look at it. It is cheaper to have it cleaned and bored than to start over. If you are going with a V-8 then you have many things to consider...suspension, trans, Etc...
My car was a 6 when I got it and I opted for a V-8..but it took much more work. As far as the body work...I would wiat till it is running before you worry about that. Mine is still wearing a coat of primer (for 6 years) and I am still getting the performance where I want it to be first. In my opinion - the body and paint should come last... Good Luck! |
