				 | Carb. for 351 Cleveland I have a 351 Cleveland powered late '71 build Mach 1. The 2bbl. carb is nearly done; I can have it rebuilt, but I want to go with the Edlebrock Manifold that allows me to put on a 4bbl. carb. I've had my 'hot rod' mechanic say that a Holley 750 double-pumper is the only way to go; the guys at the performance shop say a 670 Holley Vac. Sec. is plenty. The car is a daily driver with some highway done each day; pleasure only during the summer as I am a teacher with summers off. Car is and will remain a daily driver - no pedal to the metal; no quarter mile times required, but I do like the feeling of power that the 2bbl. is not delivering. Suggestions welcome! Thank you. |
