![]() I'm in the process of putting my pinion gear in. I installed new bearings and races, double checked to make sure they were the right bearings and the races were seated properly. The pinion nut drew up almost all the way but I still have 1/32" play back and forth let alone started to crush the crush the nut. I've had an impact wrench on the nut trying, but a small compressor. I have heared these crush sleeves are hard to crush but I'm not quite to the sleeve and it is already hard as hell. I even checked the splines on the pinion and flange looked good. I sure hope one of you guys has a good idea!
