Generally speaking youshould able to find the part # on the underside of the heads. Sometimes you can find them on top under your valve covers. NOS_Notch is right...if they're stock they'll be E7TEs. Fords part numbers are pretty easy to break down too. E7TE breaks down likes this:

E=decade...E is the 1980s

7=year in the deacade...so 1987

T=line of Ford they were built for...T is actually Ford's truck line which means the heads were originaly designed for use on trucks. The Mustang line code is a "Z".

E=Engineering group...in this case "E" means engine part
