I spent several hours wrestling with my trans since it would not slide all the way in. Thank god it was on a lift at the time. Turns out all I had to do was start the 4 bolts that hold the trans to the bellhousing and Slooowwwlllyyy and evenly tighten them up, it just goes in baby. I was too chicken to try that assuming I would crack the aluminum bellhousing etc...
