I'd align bore/hone it too. Have the crank turned, no more then .010 undersize.
If it's a street car without NOS, Super/TurboCharger Hypereutectic will work OK. Anything wilder or NOS go with Forged.

You can have your rods redone [sized and better rod bolts] or buy a set already done.
