Talking Unwary Lightning owner takes a beating until I pooch 3rd

I was on my way to school today to go hand in an assignment and do some studying, and I pulled off the freeway up a ramp to a stoplight. Low and behold, there sits a brand new Lightning (red). I glance over at the owner and he's not paying any attention; my car was dirty and not looking great anyways.
I thought maybe he just didn't notice me, so I went about 1/2 throttle off the stoplight and moved pretty good. All of a sudden I hear a loud WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sound of the blower winding out, and thought to myself "oh s**t!!" I gunned it hard in 1st and powershifted 2nd at about 5500 revs, and took 2nd to the same revs. I had about a car on him when I blew the shift to 3rd and he went ripping past. I think he might have been reeling me in a bit also, but it was hard to tell because he was in my blind spot on the passenger side.
Wish I could have that race back again That thing sounded insane once he punched it.
