![]() I have heard varying reports of just how much of a shot is recommended on bone stock 4.6 GTs. I have seen folks run into major problems with as small as a 100 shot, while others run 125-150 with no problems...
You also have to factor in the amount of use, the state of the engine, whether the plugs are gapped correctly.... (All that fun stuff) I run a dry Zex 75 shot, its as safe and easy as you're going to get. It produces a nice, steady increase in hp and torque, has driven me to a 103 mph trap speed, and if I can get some real rubber (drag radials) and a respectable 60 foot, she'll be in the 13.7-13.8s Not bad for a "slow" first generation modular... ![]() Just to let you know, the Zex will not work on the 99-00 engines due to its returnless fuel system. Be sure that the NX system doesn't have similiar limitations... ------------------ "The Yellowjacket" 1998 Mustang GT 13.97@103 "Traction Impaired" or "Nitto Needy" [This message has been edited by Hammer (edited 10-04-2000).] |
