The Viper T56 will not fit in the Mustang and the Cobra R T56 has the same ratings as the T56 from the camaros. I'd personally go with the TKO with scattersheild to be safe and track legal. Then just build up the existing 8.8 it is more than strong enough for you power level with better axles and differential.
