I don't mean to be a smart *** but I would not spray silicon on my WHEELS before i painted them. SIlicon is a contaminate and paint will not stick or lay down evenly when applied over it. Perhaps you meant to spray it on your TIRES? I do alot of painting and believe me I wouldn't want silicon any where near an area I was painting especially if I wanted a solid long lasting good job.Ever wonder why painters use a booth? To keep out contaminates.Silicon,dust,bugs, water ,sweat,Armor all etc. I am not saying that it can't be done if you are real careful but I wouldn't want to risk having to do it again. For best results remove the wheels and dismount the tires. Clean the wheels and wet sand them with 400 grit and then spray them. You'll be glad you spent the extra effort."anything worth doings worth doing right"
